Streamlined FAA Administrative Services Through IACRA

Administrative Activity Information

As a Designated Pilot Examiner, I provide a range of FAA administrative services through IACRA. These services are designed to streamline certification and eliminate unnecessary trips to the FSDO whenever possible. Appointments are available in person at McKinney National Airport (KTKI) and, when authorized, via remote meeting (Zoom).

Appointment Types

In-Person Appointments (KTKI)

  • The following services are conducted in person:
  • Certificate issuance and processing
  • Rating additions
  • Reinstatements
  • Any activity not specifically authorized for remote processing

Remote Appointments (Zoom – FAA Authorized Only)

  • In accordance with FAA Order 8900.1, the following services may be conducted remotely:
  • CFI Renewals (FIRC, Duties & Responsibilities, etc.)
  • Military Competency Applications
  • Ground Instructor Certificates
  • Limitation Removals (SOE / ATP)

Required Documentation

  • To ensure an efficient appointment, applicants should be prepared with:
  • Completed IACRA application
  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Current pilot and/or instructor certificate(s)
  • Supporting documentation specific to the requested service (e.g., graduation certificates, logbook endorsements, military records, etc.)

Administrative Activity Fees

All administrative activities incur a flat-rate fee of $125​​

Important Notes

  • Incomplete or incorrect IACRA applications may result in delays or rescheduling
  • It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure eligibility and documentation accuracy prior to the appointment
  • If you are unsure what is required, guidance can be provided before scheduling

Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled by request and confirmed once all required documentation is reviewed for completeness.
